Hello
As an assistant professor of public health and cancer research, my research aims to understand a gene-environment interaction by integrating modifiable/unmodifiable disease risk factors, epigenomics, and genomics. Specifically, I use multi-omics techniques and cutting-edge molecular biology techniques to identify epigenetic and genetic signatures as biomarkers that ultimately control and prevent diseases, including cancers.
Research Interests:
Epigenetics, DNA Methylation, Epigenetic Aging, Cancer, Health Disparities, Tobacco, Biomarkers of Exposure, Biomarkers of Effect, Cancer Risk Factors, Gene-Environment Interactions, Molecular Epidemiology, Cancer Prevention, Molecular Carcinogenesis, and Multi-Omics Data
